The Auto Contrast adjustment is used for quick tonal correction of images. It automatically cuts off the black and white point values in each color channel by the same amount. It is used to quickly improve low-contrast images.
To apply this adjustment, select in the menu: Image -> Adjustment -> Auto Contrast.
