Replace Color

The Replace Color adjustment allows you to replace the selected color with another color.

Select Image -> Adjustment -> Replace Color... to display the adjustment parameters in the Settings Panel.

Use the eyedropper to specify the color you want to replace.

Adjust the selected area using the following options:

    Invert. The check-box allows you to invert the selected area.

    Tolerance (0-200). The parameter defines the width of the color range for the selected color.

    Localized Area. The check-box allows you to limit the area to the specified Radius with the center at the point selected with the eyedropper.

    Selection Modes (in the form of icons) - modes of the eyedropper which determine the result of the interaction between selected colors.

      New . Selecting a new color to replace.

      Add . The new color is added to the already selected one. The mode is activated by holding down the Shift key.

      Subtract . The selected color is excluded from the processed area. The mode is activated by holding down the Alt key.

    The preview area shows either the original image (Image) or the selected area (Selection) as a mask. In the latter case, the processed areas are shown in white, the unused areas in black, and the transition zone in shades of gray.

 

Adjust the color in the selected area using the options:

    Hue (-180..180). The parameter allows you to adjust the color tint.

    Saturation (-100..100). The parameter allows you to change the saturation of the selected color.

    Lightness (-100..100). The parameter allows you to lighten or darken the selected color.

    The color changes will be displayed in the color field. Left-click in the color field to call up the color selection dialog where you can select a color to replace.

 

Click Default to restore the default values.

Click OK to apply all changes and close the dialog box.

Click Cancel to close the dialog box without applying any changes.
